Welcome! I’m Jalen Burnette, a professional photographer based in Kalamazoo, Southwest Michigan. Over the past five years, I’ve turned a passion for capturing moments into a full-time career, specializing in real estate photography and personal portrait shoots. My goal is to not just take photos, but to tell stories through images that resonate with my clients.
Photography Journey
My journey with photography started out as a hobby, driven by a love for freezing moments in time—whether it was a beautiful landscape or a candid smile. Over the years, this passion evolved, and I began honing my craft, eventually focusing on real estate photography. Through this, I’ve developed an eye for capturing homes and properties in their best light, helping homeowners, realtors, and property managers showcase their spaces in ways that attract attention and inspire interest. I also enjoy personal portraiture, working with individuals and families to capture those genuine, special moments that can be cherished for years to come.

Whether hiking or just exploring new spots, I love bringing my camera along to capture landscapes and candid moments in nature. Spending time with my girlfriend and our cat is another source of joy, and they often accompany me on these mini-adventures.
